 A picture is worth a thousand words ---- Model Ivory May Kalber takes that old adage one step further; in that her breath-taking pictures can now be seen in literally thousands of places all over the world. Kalber's current client list includes the London Landmark store, Marks and Spencer;  additionally Ivory May can been seen in malls across American as the in-store model for Kohl's, JC Penney, Mervyn's and Target. Her catalogue work extends across the Atlantic for Ulla Popken in Germany and the U.S.'s own Lands End

The busy model is among the top-tier in the increasingly popular plus-size category, but Kalber herself resists any instant classification. A healthy look is a beautiful look, she says. And you can be happy and healthy at a size 4 or a size 14.

Kalber is no stranger to life in front of the camera. Her grandfather is the legendary NBC News Anchorman Floyd Kalber, and Ivory May's birth was announced by Tom Brokaw and Jane Pauley on the
“Today Show.”iv.jpg

Ivory May was born in Omaha, Nebraska and raised in Hilo, Hawaii. She attended college at the University of Colorado, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism. She has worked as a segment producer and on-camera reporter for a variety of media outlets including KTLA-TV in Los Angeles and PAX-TV. Most recently, Ivory May has taken to the stage as a featured performer in the Los Angeles company of Pieces (of Ass)  at the world-famous Roxy Theater on the Sunset Strip

Kalber is single and, when she's not traveling, can be found in her residences in New York or Los Angeles.   Her hobbies include tennis, volleyball, sudoku and karaoke.
